The problem I found is that after the recent major Win10 update the 'roll back' option is not available in the driver properties: But if you select Update Driver, and then 'Browse my computer for driver software' there is an option 'Let me pick from a list of available drivers on this computer': And now you can select the 2015 version 8.970.100.9001: And on my machine it works properly again. To re-enable the ATI driver you have to roll back to the previous version. Unfortunately the latest driver is seen as incompatible by Win10. The AMD autodetect app correctly finds you have the latest driver and does nothing else. So Windows defaults to its 'basic' display adapter that is shockingly basic for 2017. Basic issue: AMD is no longer updating the driver for this class of display adapter for Windows 10. Sorry if it sounds a bit 'dumbed down' but as I said, I'm no whizz.:0).

What I noticed afterwards too is when I looked back in the Display Adapter Properties (through the desk-top screen), the ' Microsoft Basic Display Driver' had gone and was now showing as ATI Radeon HD 4300/4500 series. He did this for me by remote assistance, but it is a simple step.
Reason being? AMD does not have a current working driver for this graphics card. The trick is though, update it to January 2015 update. Go back to the Device Manager (right click on start menu) and update the ATI Radeon HD 4300/4500 series where it gives you that option. So, I contacted support, and this is what solved the issue.

I realised that I had an option here, but I was too scared to install or update the ATI Radeon HD 4300/4500 series as I thought there might be some sort of conflict that would make matters worse. I was confused at this point as I am no wizard when it comes to computers.
